I’ve always been active throughout my life, mainly running, but I felt it was time for something different, other than clocking up miles. I did a summer boot camp a couple of years ago and loved it. However, due to work commitments and mental health ups and downs, I never kept it going.
When I saw the 21-day challenge in January I jumped at it without hesitation. The programme was just what I needed to kick me back into gear with different exercises and food. I love food! At no point during the 21 days did I feel hungry; it refocused how I see food and what I need to fuel my body. During the 21 days, I was challenged by the classes that were timetabled. That’s what I needed – challenge. The greatest eye-opener was the accountability at the end of the 21 days. I’d lost 4kgs in weight! Plus, all my other stats had moved in the right direction! Win! Win!
Chris is so knowledgeable and knows exactly what my body can do, and has the potential to do! I love my BC family – the banter, the laughter and the comradery. I’ve never felt healthier – both physically and mentally. I’m so excited about what the future holds for me whilst I’m at Team BC!
